In Grades 4 & 5, we have started our first science lab/experiment using brine shrimp. This lab project has not only spurred the students' interest and curiosity, but has served as a platform for explaining and modeling each step of the scientific method. As we conduct our Brine Shrimp Egg Experiment over the next few days, each child is documenting all the steps of the scientific method in their science journal which is kept in the classroom.
